Creating Custom furniture -Chair in Revit

The way to creating furniture families in Revit is normally straight forward depending on the design of the chosen furniture piece.  This is a parametric process, whereby a new family is opened and then the furniture page, and then setting up of the work space begins.     Once the desired chair dimensions are set up as parameters on horizontal and vertical reference planes, then the drawing can begin.  This procedure is shown by the video below.

However as stated above, sometimes the complexity of the chair determines the method for drawing the chair, and an example is the video below showing how this family was created.  There are a couple of areas were parameters were considered, this is visible in the video.
